San Francisco's Household Hazardous Waste Facility Since 1988, SF Recycling & Disposal Inc. has operated one of the first permanent facilities in the country for people to safely dispose of the hazardous waste generated from their homes. The most common wastes received are leftover paint, motor oil from cars, thinners, spray cans, and old garden products, such as pesticides and fertilizers.
